Level 3 Junior Chess Competition

This competition had 17 entrants and was played over 5 rounds. There was a clear winner with Andrew Carroll finishing on 4.5 out of 5. Andrew also won this competition back in November so he looks to have been the top junior player in Galway this season.

Joint runners-up were Ruth Cormican and Conor Moran (showing a welcome return to form!).

Ruth went on to finish 3rd in the Junior All-Ireland U-10 competition, finishing as the top girl in Ireland.
